Via con Dios Big 3

I was a member of the crew of the USS Belleau Wood for just under 2 years. I have to say that I really enjoyed working with pretty much everyone on the crew and it has been an honor to know them. When I checked onboard I knew several people already from various places and met several more people who I'm sure will be lifelong friends. As the Aircraft Handler I spent many hours moving aircraft on her flight deck and I can honestly saw it was a great experience. She was a ship that still had a few good years left in her when she was decommissioned but I guess it was time for her to go. Via con Dios Big 3.
