Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower is the Japanese version of the Eiffel Tower; in fact it was specifically built it 13 meters higher to spite the rival tower. If the weather had been nicer we could have had a much better view so I'll have to go back on another day when it's clear. Here are a few shots I did get of the tower itself and from the tower observation deck. I have no earthly idea what the mascot is supposed to be other than he's the mascot for the tower. At least he's a festive mascot; they had a huge Christmas tree with a Santa village and everything set up already.
